[glow=blue,2,300]Guild Purpose and Goals[/glow]
The BloodFang Syndicate is a neutral guild that accepts players of any faction. We are based in Tatooine, KAURI.
Short term goal:
Our short term goal is to create a Guild City (Not necessarily a Player City, but a place for our members to call home).
Long term goal:
Our long term goal is to create an environment that will enhance players gameplay by making the game more fun and creating a community of players that enjoy playing together and helping each other out.
[glow=blue,2,300]PvP[/glow]
The BloodFang Syndicate harbors both Rebels and Imperials. The guild is not a PvP oriented guild; it is more of a community of players that enjoy each others company. However, from time to time, special PvP events may be organized; or you can simply join any PvP going on in most Cities/Battlefields.
[glow=red,2,300]NOTE:[/glow] A cease-fire exist at all times between guild members of opposing factions unless it is part of a guild sanctioned event or the player is in a field of battle. So it is recommended that you go "covert" when you are at a Guild Event or anywhere near the Guild Hall.
[glow=blue,2,300]Recruitment Process[/glow]
This section outlines the process that new applicants must follow in order to be accepted into the Guild.
1) Register on the BFS Forums and submit an application. Participation on the forum is encouraged.
2) Spend time with our members. Get to know everyone in the guild even if that person is not in your line of profession. It makes our community a more lively and enjoyable one, if all members regardless of faction or profession knew each other in a sense.
3) A MINIMUM of 2 weeks is required spent interacting and hunting with the guild after the application has been submitted.
4) New memberships are reviewed during the Guild meetings on a once a week basis.
5) Membership status must pass a unanimous vote by the Guild. Therefore, it is a good idea to get to interact and get to know all of the BFang Members.
[glow=blue,2,300]Player Conduct and Member Expectations[/glow]
This section is to set forth a set of guildlines for guild members to observe at all times. Failure to adhere to these rules can result in revocation of membership.
1) You must treat all members of the Guild with respect.
2) You must not perform any action or deed that ruins the Guild's Reputation. You should be proud of the guild that you are in and should show other people good character.
4) You must follow the orders of the group leaders on guild hunts. This isnt meant to be fascist, but the orders will be common sense ones to ensure a successful hunt.
5) You must be willing to donate personal wealth and/or resources to the guild.
6) No PvP with other guild members except in an active PvP zone/battle or guild sponsored PvP event.
7) An environment of encouragement and support will be maintained at all times.
"Flaming", harassing, or in anyway belittling other guild members will not be tolerated.
8) Any dispute between guild members that cannot be handled between the members themselves will be brought to The Master Of Arms for the purpose of resolving the issue in a manner that is mutually beneficial to all parties concerned. Master of Arms decision will be final on all such matters.
9) The two-week probationary period will apply to ALL applicants that are not alternate characters of existing members in good standing. This is to insure that membership in this guild is mutually beneficial to both parties. (We want you to feel at home here and we want to feel that you are part of our family. That means it has to be a good fit on both sides.)
10) Members wishing to place houses or shops in the vicinity of the PA will adhere to placement procedures as are set forth by the Guild as to the placement of residential, commercial, or industrial structures.
This is to insure our layout is as orderly and as esthetically pleasing as possible.
11) All guild contributions are to be donated via the Guild Donation vendor set in the designated location. Please do not try to hand a donation to any other guild member if it is intended to be a Guild donation and not a personal one. This is to facilitate tracking of our resources and to insure that all guild members have equal opportunity to access what is intended to be shared. An exception is monetary donations.
12) Some items placed on the Guild Vendor are to facilitate guild resource gathering. Please use common sense when purchasing items from this vendor. If it is a harvester, it is intended for guild resource gathering. If it is power, it is intended for powering guild harvesters. If you want a personal harvester, and you cannot afford one, please check with your Cell Leader and allow us to help you procure one. Items such as bone, hide, organics may also be donated. They will be placed for sale, usually at 5-10 credits to those who need them. Any inorganics that are placed on the vendor will be considered donations for the PA City unless you specifically specify otherwise.
13) All members are expected to select a Cell to be in. This will help us streamline administration and more effictively facilitate growth and the recongintion of individual needs of our members. Please notify your preferred Cell leader of your intent to place yourself under them so they can more readily server you. In the event that you change your mind and would like to be in a different Cell, report your intentions to BOTH Cell leaders so that no one is left in the dark.
14.) The Guild Hall is a Standing Symbol of our communtiy so let us give it due respect. There will be, at all times, a cease fire within its vicinity. All members are requested to "stand down" and unequipt their weapons. There will be [glow=red,2,300]NO WEAPONS[/glow] and
[glow=red,2,300] NO PETS[/glow] inside the Hall AT ALL TIMES. Droids are only allowed inside for the sole purpose of its function in service, and combat droids are prohibited if they do not have any other function aside from disintegration. And remember to clean up after your pet when its done to keep our area clean....
